We love The JobClock! I bet we saved $600 the first week.
Becky HulettThe JobClock System is so helpful and awesome! I was thinking to myself, "How can I keep time?" I actually saw one of my workers a mile from the jobsite while I was driving by, when he was supposed to be on the jobsite! I was so excited when I came home after seeing the JobClock and having another company show me how they use it! I ordered it and set it up right away. It just adds to my business and is so professional. You can print out a report, attach it to the workers' paychecks and there's no dispute.
My guys actually like it because they don't have to fill out the time sheets anymore. It looks more professional and it's just the bomb, it
really is!
The JobClock System has been the best investment our company has ever made. It paid for itself and started making money for us within a few months of using it. Using the JobClock has eased the stress of owning a small business and managing employees. I would HIGHLY recommend your system to every business with employees.
John ChildsFrom building straw bale homes to the tools used to run the business, the Phil Milana Construction Company tries to stay on the cutting edge. Phil likes it that way.
With 27 years in the construction business, Phil is always looking for ways to keep things interesting and set his company apart from the 'paper contractors' that come and go. Having unique ways of doing things keeps the company moving forward, especially during the recent boom-and-bust business cycle in San Diego.

The company has felt the impact of the recession, but the way the business is run has remained consistent. “I built up to 15 full-time employees for the good years and cut back to where I’m now personally back in the field, ” said Milana. “My customers prefer that the key people on their jobs are my employees, not subs. It’s kind of our claim to fame, and I don’t want to lose that.”
Another thing that’s not going to change is how the company tracks time and attendance for its employees and subs. Eight years ago the company automated employee timekeeping with The JobClock System. Today, in an environment where budgets are tighter, schedules are shorter and clients always want something for nothing, the efficiency and savings that he gets is more important than ever.
Milana remembers when he decided to get The JobClock System. “I didn’t like being forced to rely on the guys to remember when they came and went, but I couldn’t be in 3 places at the same time. I searched on the Internet and looked at several timekeeping systems, but most were big and clumsy. The JobClock was exactly what I needed.”
He rolled out the system to his workers the next day, explaining to his guys that it was strictly a bookkeeping issue. It made payroll easier for him, and that was that. The savings from recovering lost work time began to show immediately. Later his supervisors started using the JobClock to track the arrival and departure of subs, essentially clocking in and out for them, so that their hours could be compared with the invoices that Milana received.
The JobClock not only saves Milana money; it helps him to win more business. When pitching for new work, he shows it to clients to give them confidence that he runs a tight ship and his people are on the job when they’re supposed to be. “It’s a real selling tool for me,” says Milana. “And it was a lifesaver when one of our projects went south and we ended up in litigation. I brought my printed timekeeping reports into court to prove how much effort we had put into the project.”
But delivering successful new projects is where it’s at. Phil Milana Construction has the people, the unique selling proposition and the operational tools that make them ready for when the market picks up again. And Milana is going to keep looking for new approaches to operating his business. “I’ve got a soft spot for technology. The JobClock was a totally new idea a few years ago, but now I can’t imagine why anybody would not automate their timekeeping.” Milana is looking for new approaches to other areas of his business to get back out on the cutting edge. He likes it there.
I have used the time clocks for 1 month (2 pay periods) and they have already paid for themselves. "Great Product"
Steve YoungOur 12 JobClocks paid for themselves in just a couple of months. Not only do we save on labor costs, we keep better track of our job time and we know exactly where our men are. Getting The JobClock System is one of the best decisions we’ve made.”
